Transaction Flow?

• Consumer logs on the merchant website. 
• Selects goods/services/subscriptions he wants to buy and adds to his shopping basket.
• The customer then verifies the products in the shopping cart and agrees to buy them. 
• He is then asked to submit the delivery address. 
• He is now presented with the various payments options such as cash on delivery, cheque or draft or pays online by credit cards.
• In case he selects to buy on his credit card or using his PKN he is transferred to the secured server of the Payment Gateway.
• Here he is prompted to submits his PKN no. or his CC details.
• In case the customer has submitted the PKN no. this no. is checked and converted into credit card number and submitted to the CC issuing bank, incase the customer has submitted the CC no. the information is directly passed on to the bank. 
• The Issuing bank then authorizes the transaction, and the authorization code is generated which is reported to the cardholder. 
• The customer is now transferred bank to the merchant's website with a "success page" and the transaction is now complete.
  An automated mail is sent to the cardholder (for PKN transaction) informing him about the transaction and asking for confirmation
